is a REALTOR® from Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. He is the CEO of Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty in Northern New Jersey, specializing in residential brokerage.
Charlie was born in the small town of Sidney, New York, where he lived with his mother and grandmother, while his father was stationed at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. After relocating to the base for a few years, four-year-old Charlie and his family moved to Ridgefield New Jersey. The Opplers called Ridgefield home for more than 15 years.
Charlie attended College of New Jersey to play basketball. He graduated in 1980 with a bachelor’s in communications. After college, Charlie worked for the March of Dimes for a year before beginning his career in real estate. Charlie worked his way up and became the president of New Jersey REALTORS®. Charlie has served on and chaired dozens of committees at the local, state, and national level. He was named REALTOR ® of the year by the Eastern Bergen County Board of REALTORs ® in 1997.
Charlie is also very involved in his community. As a father of four, he has coached his children’s sports teams. Charlie also supports IronMatt, a foundation dedicated to raising awareness of pediatric brain tumors. He also supports Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
